THREE YEAR BATTERY WARRANTY
Three year warranty on electric vehicle batteries that applies to leisure and commercial users. Covers leisure and delivery models, part and subject to complying with the recommended service schedule and routine maintenance requirements as specified in the owner’s manual. Applies to factory fitted battery only and servicing must be carried out by an authorised Yamaha dealer during Year 3.
Terms & Conditions
All Yamaha NEO’s model year 2022 and Yamaha Booster (moped) model year 2023 onwards officially imported by Yamaha Motor Europe N.V., Branch UK, purchased for leisure or commercial use come with the following warranty:
Vehicle Warranty - Yamaha NEO's (ESS025) & Booster (YB01) moped models are supplied with a two year (unlimited mileage) vehicle warranty cover.
Battery Warranty - Yamaha NEO's (ESS025) & Booster (YB01) moped are supplied with a three year (unlimited mileage) battery specific warranty cover. Yamaha batteries are rated to maintain a capacity of 80% of their initial capacity after 3 years. Keeping up with our recommended charging and storage practices will ensure optimum battery life. If your battery loses more than 20% capacity before this time then, subject to compliance with the warranty conditions, it will be replaced free of charge. Yamaha NEO’s (ESS025) customers also have the option to extend this (unlimited mileage) battery specific warranty cover by a further two years at an additional cost for this battery specific cover warranty extension.
Notes: All cover is subject to regular servicing, as specified in the relevant Yamaha NEO’s & Yamaha Booster moped owner’s manuals. The Yamaha NEO’s model year 2022 and Yamaha Booster moped model year 2023 onwards Vehicle Warranty and Battery Warranty both come with the Yamaha assurance that cover is not affected by a change of ownership, with any remaining period of cover being transferable to subsequent owners.

We can introduce you to a selected panel of lenders, which includes manufacturer lenders linked directly to the franchises that we represent. An introduction to a lender does not amount to independent financial advice and we act as their agent for this introduction. Our approach is to introduce you first to the manufacturer lender linked directly to the particular franchise you are purchasing your vehicle from, who are usually able to offer the best available package for you, taking into account both interest rates and other contributions. If they are unable to make you an offer of finance, we then seek to introduce you to whichever of the other lenders on our panel is able to make the next best offer of finance for you. Our aim is to secure the best deal you are eligible for from our panel of lenders. Lenders may pay a fixed commission to us for introducing you to them, calculated by reference to the vehicle model or amount you borrow. Different lenders may pay different commissions for such introductions, and manufacturer lenders linked directly to the franchises that we represent may also provide preferential rates to us for the funding of our vehicle stock and also provide financial support for our training and marketing. But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement, all of which are set by the lender concerned. If you ask us what the amount of commission is, we will tell you in good time before the Finance agreement is executed.
